Blood is primarily a liquid called plasma; this plasma contains very minute components such as red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.

Platelets are granular components that are known to facilitate blood clotting or coagulation and contain hundreds of proteins that are called growth factors.

Scientists and researchers have demonstrated that the proteins present in these growth factors stimulate the receptors of cell membranes.

This helps in the regeneration of major cells and tissues.
