Dr. Cabezas graduated from the University of Costa Rica and after completed internships in internal medicine at the Hospital of San Juan de Dios in 1995 and the Hospital Nacional de Niños. He is currently a practicing cardiologist at CIMA San Jose Hospital at Costa Rica. Dr. Cabeza’s main focus is peripheral vascular surgery.

He is a board-certified cardiologist and renowned for his special training in cardiopulmonary reanimation and advanced cardiac support. Dr. Cabezas taught vascular surgery since 2003. His private practice includes complex procedures such as: bilateral safenectomy, embelectomy, and unilateral & bilateral endovascular treatment.
