He is an experienced surgeon at CIMA Monterrey who has completed special training in laparoscopic surgery in San Antonio, Texas, Miami, Florida, Cleveland, Ohio, and Dallas, Texas. In addition, he specializes in colorectal and endo-anal surgery, rectal ultrasound and digestive physiology. Dr. Aguirre has been a visiting surgeon and professor of general colorectal and laparoscopic surgery for several professional surgical associations in Mexico and Central America. He is an active member of the Mexican Association of General Surgery, Mexican Association of Endoscopic Surgery, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.
